Meet The Founders of Personalities DISCovered

Bill & Karen

Your Breakthrough Begins With Understanding…

Do you ever feel like no matter how hard you try, people just don’t get you? Maybe your words don’t land the way you intend, or conversations at work feel like a constant struggle.

You know you’re capable of leading, influencing, and connecting better—but something keeps getting in the way.

We’ve been there. And we’ve seen so many others stuck in the same spot.

This is why we fell in love with DISC.

It’s a real, practical tool that helps you understand why people communicate the way they do (including yourself). Once you crack that code, everything changes. Conversations get easier, conflicts make more sense, and leadership becomes second nature.

We’ve spent decades using DISC to improve the way people work, lead, and relate to others.

And now, we’re here to help you do the same.

Our Story

If you told us decades ago that a simple personality model would change everything for us, we might not have believed you.

Back in those days, we were busy building our careers, making things happen, and navigating the ups and downs of business and leadership. Bill was known for his ability to stay cool under pressure—whether it was managing real estate deals, handling operations in transportation, or serving in the U.S. Army.

No matter how chaotic things got, he had a way of reading the room, finding solutions, and keeping things moving.

Karen, on the other hand, was the definition of determination. Leaving corporate America in 1999, she jumped into real estate with a sink-or-swim mentality—except sinking was never an option. She worked her way up, built a successful business, earned top credentials, and eventually co-owned a thriving real estate franchise with Bill.

Together, we became “The Dream Team” that blended business strategy with a people-first approach.

We thought we had a pretty solid understanding of people. After all, in our line of work, reading clients, negotiating deals, and building relationships were part of the job.

But despite all that experience, we still found ourselves wondering why some conversations flowed effortlessly while others hit a wall — why some people responded well to directness while others shut down. And why the same message could be received in completely different ways by different people.

We didn’t realize it at the time, but we were searching for something—something that would help us really understand what made people tick.

And then, we found DISC.

The Moment Everything Clicked

We first came across DISC in the late ’80s, and it was like a lightbulb went off.
For years, we have relied on instinct, observation, and experience to navigate human interactions. But suddenly, we had a framework that explained it all—why people communicate the way they do, why certain personalities naturally click while others clash, and how simple shifts in approach can transform relationships.
Because of that, we studied and lived with the principles of DISC.

We tested it in business, in leadership, and in our personal lives. And the more we used it, the more we realized just how powerful it was.

After years of talking about it, applying it, and seeing the impact firsthand, we made it official. We got certified and dedicated ourselves to helping others use DISC to unlock their potential—whether in the workplace, in leadership, or in everyday relationships.

Let’s Make DISC Work for You

We know what it’s like to struggle with communication, to feel like you’re hitting roadblocks when trying to lead, influence, or connect. That’s why we do this work—because we’ve been there, and we’ve seen how DISC can change everything.
Through our coaching, we help people like you uncover the why behind your communication struggles—so you can break through frustration, strengthen relationships, and lead with confidence.

Because once you understand how people are wired, everything gets easier.

Coaches Who’ve Been in Your Shoes

Above all, we’re not here to overwhelm you with theory or make things more complicated than they need to be. We’ve been through the same communication struggles, and we’ve seen firsthand how DISC can change everything. That’s why our goal here is to make DISC easy, approachable, and something you can use right away.

A Closer Look Into Our Lives

We spend a lot of time talking about DISC, communication, and leadership—but at the end of the day, we’re just people who love connecting with others, having fun, and figuring out life one step at a time.

Bill Farragher

People say I have a gift for staying calm when everything around me is in chaos—and honestly, that’s probably true. Whether I’m managing a team, negotiating with a client, or figuring out how to solve a problem no one saw coming, I’ve always been the steady hand in the room.

I’ve worked in sales, real estate, operations, and HOA management. I’ve led teams, grown businesses, and spent years learning how to work with all kinds of personalities. But even with all that experience, I never stop learning. I’m always attending trainings, reading something new, or finding a better way to do something. My mind never sits still for long.

That probably explains why I’m always dreaming up new business ideas—or singing the wrong lyrics to songs like I wrote them myself. (Sometimes I do it on purpose, sometimes… not.)

At the end of the day, what matters most to me is helping people connect, communicate, and grow. That’s what DISC has done for me, and it’s what I love helping others discover for themselves.

Karen Farragher

People often assume I’m an extrovert because I’ve worked in leadership, built businesses, and spent years in real estate. But truthfully, I’m an introvert at heart.

I love what I do, but I also love quiet moments—reading, crocheting, or just spending time with family.

Speaking of family, I’m someone who will drop everything to show up for the people I care about. Even when my schedule is packed, I find a way to make time. My nieces and nephew call me “AK” (Aunt Karen), and spoiling them is one of my favorite things to do.

I’ve had the chance to work in so many different roles throughout my career, each one teaching me something new.

But no matter what I do, I always come back to the same thing—helping people grow, communicate better, and succeed in their own way. That’s what drives me, and it’s why I love the work we do with DISC.
